Scope: Additions & Alterations (Conservation)

 

Almost 100 years old, a storied shophouse had over time accumulated haphazard partitions, asbestos roofs, and a host maintenance issues. Oculi restored the shophouse to its former glory, with ornate facade details and a soaring master hall. The shophouse is also modernised for contemporary living, with a fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms, and double-volume shelter over the rear courtyard.
